'As you may or may not know we lost our wonderful mum at the beginning of last year due to chronic lung problems. She was such a kind and loving person who would always put everyone else before herself. She was an amazing mum, wife, granny, daughter, sister and friend to all. Life just has not been the same without her around. When Dave suggested a London to Paris bike ride to dad, we thought he was mad and that it would never happen. In the months leading up to it the team trained hard, cycling everywhere. All the hard work paid off. The team were successful and completed the mammoth journey without too many hitches. We would like to thank the crazy cycling team for all their efforts in raising money for the British Lung Foundation who were a great support to mum. We would also like to thank everyone who has donated to this worthy cause so far. We truly appreciate it.
